Whiskey Decanter - V-Twin Edition

Bought this for my father in law who is impossible to shop for. He restores vintage motorcycles as a hobby. He went quiet when he opened it, which for him is basically a standing ovation. Shipping was quick and it arrived well packaged with no damage.

This thing is a conversation starter, no way around it. It sits on my whiskey shelf and every single person who comes over ends up asking about it. Once they clock that the whole body is shaped like a motorcycle engine they want to pick it up and look closer. Well made and a good bit heavier than I expected.

Bought this for myself after I sold my old Softail and wanted something on the bar that still had that vibe. The engine detail is what got me. You can actually see the cylinders and the cooling fins cast into the glass and it reads like a real V twin, not some vague blob. Holds a full bottle too. No regrets on this one.

Got this for my younger brother who wrenches on bikes out in his garage. He liked it a lot. Only knock is the box could have used a little more padding, one corner showed up slightly scuffed but the decanter itself was perfect. Still a solid buy and he actually uses it.

As a gearhead I was worried this would look like a toy but it does not. They nailed the proportions of the twin cylinders and the whole thing sits like a little chromed motor on my shelf, except in glass. Poured my good bourbon in it and it looks the part. One tip, fill it with something dark so the shape really pops when the light hits it.

My coworkers pooled together and gave me this when I left the firm. I am not even a big whiskey person but it is genuinely a beautiful object. It sits on my console table and catches the afternoon light. Way more thoughtful than the usual going away card.

I bought this for my best friend for his fortieth. Both of us grew up around bikes here so the whole V twin thing means something to us. What surprised me was how much detail they packed into the casting, right down to the pushrod tubes and the finning. He filled it with bourbon the same night. Great gift for a rider.

I collect oddball barware and this is one of the better pieces I own. Thick walled, sturdy base, and the stopper seals nice and snug. Poured some rye in and it looks fantastic under the cabinet lights. Honestly tempted to grab another shape.
